From 1958 to 1964, she studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Gdańsk in the studio of Krystyna Lada-Studnicka and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of Artur Nacht-Samborski.
From 1972-1980, she ran the Gallery of Contemporary Art at the Old Town House of Culture, continuing the work of Marian Bogusz and the then Crooked Circle Gallery. In 1981-1989, she participated in independent art exhibitions. Her work could be seen in about 30 solo exhibitions. The last of these was titled in reference to the game "Game of Green." During the exhibition, viewers had the opportunity to see the artist's landscape paintings, which are the main theme of her art, made in oil or gouache technique with a characteristic intensity and choice of colors along with reduced painting means, thanks to which Teresa Panasiuk's canvases have features close to the geometric abstraction trend. In 2024 the exhibition "Horizon" was held, during which the work of Teresa Panasiuk was shown in the broader context of abstraction associated with the study of color. Her works were juxtaposed with those of her former colleague and master of color Stefan Gierowski.
